Coronado First Bank is proud to honor Doug St Denis as this years Coronado Citizen of the Year. Doug currently serves as a member of the Coronado Planning Commission, the Coronado Design Review Commision and is Vice Chair of the Coronado Cultural Arts Commission. She is a founding member of the Coronado Public Arts Subcommittee and Honorary Board member of Coronado Historical Association. She previously served on the Historic Resource Commission. She is also a long time member of Soroptimist and a former Board Member of Lamb's Players Theatre, currently a board of SRO.
Her accomplishments in the art, architecture, culture, preservations and sensitive planning of Coronado are evident. With a joyous spirit that denies any of her projects are "work" but, rather, a labor of love, Doug tackles one assignment after another with contagious enthusiasm, focus and amazing energy.
Here Doug (far right) is joined by Coronado First Bank President Maria Kunac and previous Citizen of the Year recipients Tom Smisek and Steve Wampler.

Coronado Relay For Life 2012
On Saturday, August 4 and Sunday, August 5, 2012 staff of Coronado First Bank joined the American Cancer Society for the annual Relay for Life in Coronado.
The Relay for Life event is held in communities throughout the USA to raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society and to honor and remember people we have lost to cancer.
Bank Vice President Debbie Warren served on the local committee and has organized our Bank's participation for the last six years. Pictured here are CFB staff members with spouses, children and furry friends.
Other staff supported the American Cancer Society this week by enjoying a Lunch-Time fundraiser called Chow Down 4 A Cure. Some cooked, some donated and all enjoyed supporting the cause.
Pictured here are Cancer Survivors who start the day in the Survivor's Lap which honors those who have battled cancer. Early in the day a lively group jumped to a 30 minute Zumba class. Throughout the day everyone enjoyed some great live music and the kids used some of their energy in the bounce house.
The community of Coronado is proud to help raise funds for cancer research. This year, Coronado's event generated over $30,000. Thanks to all who participated.
